Attempt #1 KaKaw!

The very first incident that I remember as an attempt to put him in an early grave (by heart attack) is what we now call the KaKaw incident. This took place on a lovely quiet afternoon, both working on our computers in the same office when out of the blue I thought it is a good idea to yell out a loud KaKaw!  Without any sort of warning. He still  had no idea how crazy I was, so you can figure out he jumped out of his chair and put his hand on his heart and had to take it slow for a few minutes after.

Attempt #2 - The Dog Walk

I think we can consider Attempt #2 the first “serious” dog walk I invited him on. I had Breadcrumbs, a fifty-kilo brown Doberman with pointy ears, a frightening silhouette, and enthusiasm turned up to maximum.  He , on the other hand, was not a dog person. He was also definitely not the type of person who would go on a long walk without a serious purpose. And this is where our definitions started diverging. A purpose, in his definition, would have been something “normal,” like going to get some PC components, buying more memory or a hard drive, going out for dinner, or maybe going to a movie. Preferably by car. Or even by bus. “Taxis were invented a long time ago for a reason” used to be his motto.
